Until the age of six, Duchess wanted to be a farmer. Luckily se changed her mind early, and started dreaming about a life of glamour and glitz instead. And now, (gosh, we forget just how many years later) that life is upon her. At least most of the time.

Burlesque is a passion sport, and even though it's all about the rhinestone glamour on stage, off stage it's all about hard work. But that's just part of the fun. Burlesque is D.I.Y. razzle dazzle, and once you've tired it, you're going to find it very hard to stop.

Forming Sweden's first and finest modern day burlesque troupe at the end of 2005, Duchess first took the stage with The Amazing Knicker Kittens in early 2006. Since then she has been around the world with this classic burlesque troupe, seeing everything from the Swedish countryside to the stages of Helsinki, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Paris, London, New York and Las Vegas.

She has performed in front of burlesque giants, shaken Dixie Evans' hand, been on a sightseeing cruise with the World Famous *BOB*, brought cupcakes to Scotty the Blue Bunny's housewarming party, seen Little Brooklyn flossing, shown her pastied bosom to Nobel Laureates, jumped out of a window in Bergslagen to change her costume, hair sprayed Ruby Valentine's behind, and had her panel skirt malfunction on national television. That's just a cross section of what might occur in the life of a showgirl from the north.

Besides performing the Kittens have brought Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School to Sweden and started Burleskakademien. They also run their own club, Kittenville.
